Adopt - a - Veteran Program
This year we are adopting veterans families that are receiving assistance from MACV in Duluth, as well as the formerly homeless veterans who are now living in MACV's transitional and permanent housing in Duluth. We are provided with a Christmas Wish for each veteran and family member, and then it's up to us to help brighten their holidays.
There are two ways you can participate. You can select a veteran or family member from the list, send us an e mail to tell us who you've selected, and then shop for that gift. We will send you an e mail to confirm that the veteran or family member you selected is still available. We will even wrap the gift for you if you'd like. (You are welcome, however, to wrap it yourself - and for the gifts for veterans we encourage you to include a card sharing as much or as little about yourself or your family as you wish. We have even had people include pictures of their families.) We will happily come to you to pick up your gift. If you don't have time to shop, we are happy to accept cash/check donations and we will do the shopping for you.

Our veterans are being adopted so quickly, we can't even keep the website updated! We only have about six wishes left (there is a great need for men's winter boots) - please email if you are interested in adopting a veteran and we will email you back with the up-to-the-minute revised Wish List.
